Daniela Ramirez

Daniela believes that communication is essential to the fight for social justice, racial equity and true liberation for all. As an experienced communications strategist with a deep commitment to racial justice, she exercises that belief through dedicating her career to strengthening communication strategies and shifting narratives with the leaders working in this space and on the key issues impacting communities of color today.

Prior to joining Spitfire, Daniela spent seven years at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. In her time there she co-created and ultimately led their multicultural communications team, working to construct authentic messaging and strategies to engage communities of color and boldly address structural racism – both at the organization and in the broader movement for sexual and reproductive health and rights.

As the country experiences a long overdue racial reckoning and is on the precipice of real change, Daniela joined Spitfire to lend her expertise and have the opportunity to learn from leaders and organizations working directly to lead the fight for the advancement of equity and justice in all forms.
