Daniel Mietz has a diverse work experience in the field of programming, specifically focusing on UI programming for video game companies. Daniel started their career as a Programmer at Total ArKade Software in 2011 before moving on to co-found Devour Games PTY. LTD in 2012. Daniel then worked as a Games Programmer at Lightmare Studios from 2012 to 2014. Daniel continued their career as a UI Programmer at Gameloft from 2014 to 2017, and then moved to Splash Damage where they progressed from a UI Programmer to Senior UI Programmer and eventually to Lead UI Programmer, where they were last noted to be in 2021.

Daniel Mietz attended Qantm College from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment with a focus on Games Programming.
