Daniel Gomez Ferro

Chief Architect at Splice Machine

Daniel is the Chief Architect at Splice Machine. He has been working on Distributed Systems for the last decade, at first on HPC and then on Hadoop. Prior to joining Splice Machine, Daniel was a Research Engineer at Yahoo! Labs, where he contributed to the design and drove the implementation of Omid, one of the first transactional solutions for HBase that inspired in one way or another most of the current SQL-on-Hadoop projects. Daniel obtained his Master's degree in Computer Science from A Coruña University in Spain.
