Krishnan Parasuraman

VP, Strategic Accounts at Splice Machine

Krishnan brings over 18 years of enterprise software experience, spanning diverse roles in R&D, engineering, product management, consulting, sales and business development, to Splice Machine. Before joining Splice Machine, Krishnan worked at IBM in sales leadership positions and was responsible for driving revenue growth of IBM’s Big Data platform across a global portfolio of clients. Prior to IBM, he was the CTO of Digital Media at Netezza, leading its technology strategy and go-to-market plans for High-Tech and Digital Marketing business units. In this role, he worked very closely with some of the largest marketing service providers and digital ad networks. Prior to Netezza, he the ran the Information Management practice for Infosys Technologies and consulted on large-scale data warehousing, analytics and big data projects for Apple, Microsoft, Motorola and numerous other fortune 500 clients. He speaks regularly at industry events, writes for trade publications and is the author of the book, Harness the Power of Big Data. He holds an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Georgia.
