Lars Fluri

Lars Fluri's work experience includes roles as a Doctoral Researcher in Computational Economics and Finance at the University of Basel, where they began in August 2021. Lars also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Corporate Finance and Controlling at the University of Basel, starting in October 2019. Lars was a Co-President at avuba from December 2021 to December 2022. Additionally, they served as a Private Equity Associate at Novastone Capital Advisors from April 2021 to January 2022 as part of a buy-side private equity team. Lars also gained experience as a Wealth Management Summer Intern at Credit Suisse from July 2020 to September 2020.

Lars Fluri's education history begins in 2016 when they enrolled at the University of Basel to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, which they completed in 2019. In the same year, they attended the NYU Stern School of Business to study Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions. Additionally, they participated in a program on Financing New Ventures at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Lars returned to the University of Basel and achieved a Master of Science in Quantitative Methods between 2019 and 2021. In 2023, they attended the University of Zurich's Winter School to specialize in Quantitative Finance.

Continuing their education, Lars is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Finance at the University of Basel, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
