Nicolas Zelaya

Nicolas Zelaya has a diverse work experience starting in 2014. Nicolas began their career at SBM Creditos as a Full-stack Developer from October 2014 to April 2015. Nicolas then worked at Kubikware as a Front End Developer from July 2015 to November 2015.

In 2014, Zelaya joined Globant where they held the position of Senior Web UI Dev until March 2017. During this time, they worked as a Front End Developer and UI Lead, using various technologies such as Knockout, DurandalJS, AngularJS, Angular 2, grunt, gulp, and Webpack. As a UI Lead, they were responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, leading UI project-wide efforts, training developers, and conducting code reviews. From November 2015 to March 2017, Zelaya also served as a Technical Lead at Globant, leading a team of approximately 8 people using Scrum. Nicolas'sduties included team coordination, task follow-up, people development, technical decisions, negotiation, vendor interactions, client discussions, and more.

Since 2017, Zelaya has been working at Split. Nicolas initially joined as an FE & SDK Engineer, responsible for working on the Split WebConsole using React + Redux stack on the front end, as well as developing and maintaining Split JavaScript isomorphic SDK for Browsers and Node on the back end. Additionally, they worked on satellite projects such as an Evaluator microservice and an API Wrapper. In April 2019, Zelaya was promoted to Product & Engineering Manager and later became the Product & Engineering Director in May 2023, a position they currently hold.

Nicolas Zelaya pursued their education at the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, where they obtained a degree in Ingenieria de Sistemas. Nicolas'speriod of study lasted from 2009 to 2015.
