David Martin

David Martin has over 18 years of experience in sales, business development, and engineering. David began their career in 2003 as a Structural Auto-CAD Technician for DBFL Consulting Engineers Ltd. In 2008, they took on the role of PT, Sales and Marketing for Raw Condition Gym Limited. In 2011, they became a Telesales Representative for eir Ireland. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Business Development Representative for Codec Ireland. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Account Executive and Senior Account Executive for Oracle. In 2016, they became a Technical Sales Specialist for Microsoft and a Sales Leader and Senior Sales Leader for Pluralsight. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Sales Director and Head of Sales for Kaseya, and is currently a VP of Sales for SplitMetrics. During their time at Kaseya, they increased EMEA revenues by $1m and grew the team from 0-8 account managers in 6 months. At Pluralsight, they led a team that grew from two to fourteen, increasing revenue 20x from Q2-FY19 to Q1FY21. At Oracle, they achieved 135% of their FY17 target and closed the most 6 figure deals in the team as of 2018. At Microsoft, they managed over 300+ accounts across all verticals within the Irish market. At Codec Ireland, they sold infrastructure products from companies such as Dell, Lenovo, and HP.

David Martin has a diverse educational background. In 2003, they obtained a City and Guilds Certification in Autocad from Ringsend College. In 2006, they earned an Engineer's Certification from the Association of Consulting Engineers Ireland after completing a Structural Engineering Technician Course. From 2011 to 2012, they obtained a Certification in PC Maintenance and Services, Communications and Customer Service from Ringsend College. In 2015, they earned a Certification in Social Media, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud (SMAC) from SABA - Dell Social Media and Community University. In 2016, they earned an NFQ Level 8 Diploma in International Marketing and E-Marketing from IBAT College Dublin. From 2019 to 2020, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Selling and Sales Management from Dublin Business School. David is currently enrolled in University College Dublin, where they are pursuing a Professional Diploma in Creativity, Innovation and Leadership. David has also obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn and HubSpot.
