Duc Nguyen

Duc Nguyen is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in designing mechanical components and assemblies, particularly in optical Raman spectroscopy and pressure sensors at Sporian Microsystems, Inc. since October 2019. Key achievements include developing solutions for optical testing under extreme conditions, performing FEA analysis, and rapid prototyping. Prior to this role, Duc was a NASA Space Technology Research Fellow and contributed to research on heat transfer as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Colorado School of Mines. Duc holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Additional skills include Python programming for automation and machine learning applications in sensor calibration.
