Dave Potter

Dave Potter has a diverse work experience in manufacturing and engineering roles. Dave most recently worked at Sportable as a Manufacturing Coordinator/Lead NPI Engineer, where they were responsible for manufacturing engineering, supplier contact, new product introduction, quality monitoring, and documentation. Prior to that, they worked at Ultra Electronics Precision Control Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer, providing line support, representing the department at the material review board, and coordinating various documentation and approvals. Dave also worked at KMG Systems Ltd as a Project Engineer, managing and scheduling specialized food processing machinery projects. Dave has experience in manufacturing engineering support, assembly methods, tooling, and operator training from their time at Detector Testers and Video Networks Ltd. Additionally, they worked as a Production Coordinator at Link Research, overseeing subcontract manufacturing for wireless camera systems and encoders. Earlier in their career, they were a Production Engineer at Nemco Ltd, specializing in subcontract SMT/conventional electronics manufacturing, and at Century Electronics Manufacturing Systems.

Dave Potter attended Onslow, Hatfield from 1971 to 1978. Dave did not obtain a degree or major in any specific field during this time. In terms of additional certifications, they acquired the IPC J-STD-001 trainer certification from IPC in December 2013, the ISO 9001:2015 Foundation course certification from ALCUMUS ISOQAR LIMITED in July 2021, and the ICQAR ISO 9001:2015 Lead auditor certification, also from ALCUMUS ISOQAR LIMITED, in 2021.
