John Nguyen Pt

John Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy. John started working as a Clinical Intern at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in 2016, followed by a position as a Clinical Intern at Memorial Outpatient Therapy Services in 2017. In the same year, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Indiana State University. In 2018, John interned at Rockford Orthopedic Associates, Ltd. D/B/A OrthoIllinois and FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers. John later joined SporTherapy, LLC as a Physical Therapist and was promoted to Clinic Director in May 2021.

John Nguyen PT, DPT completed their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Indiana State University from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating between 2011 and 2015. John attended Saint Joseph's High School from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, John has obtained several certifications, including Sport Physical Therapy Certification from Evidence In Motion (EIM) in 2020, Functional Dry-Needling (Level 1) from EIM in 2019, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certification from the American Red Cross in September 2019. Other certifications include Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) from the American Red Cross in 2019, Graston M1 Technique Certification from Graston Technique® in 2018, Rocktape FMT 1 Basic Certification from ROCKTAPE in 2018, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Red Cross in 2015.
