Fares J. Hamida

Fares J. Hamida is an experienced footwear design professional currently serving as the Sport Footwear Performance Creative Lead at Sportmaster since July 2022, collaborating with senior designers from prominent brands to establish design language and innovation strategies. Previously, Fares held multiple roles including Head of Design for the Outdoor Footwear Group, overseeing multiple brands, and Senior Performance Designer at Quiksilver, managing the wetsuit category. Fares has founded and led various companies, including SAOLA, an eco-friendly shoe brand, and has extensive freelance experience in outdoor product design. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Strate, Ecole de Design.
