Vassilis Kountouriotis

Vassilis Kountouriotis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vassilis'smost recent role is as a Software Development Manager and Head of Payments at AsianLogic, starting in April 2022. Before that, they worked at OpenBet as a Development Lead from August 2019 to April 2022. Prior to that, Vassilis served as the Head of Release Management Office at Intralot, where they were responsible for designing and implementing company-wide policies, workflows, and automation related to software development and delivery. Vassilis Kountouriotis pursued an extensive education in computer science at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Vassilis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from 1999 to 2004. Subsequently, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Computational Science from 2004 to 2007. Vassilis then continued their academic journey and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical Computer Science, specializing in Semantics and Logic Programming, from 2005 to 2009.
