Cameron Akhavan

Cameron Akhavan has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and software engineering. Cameron started their career in 2018 as a Software Engineer at PubNub, where they worked until 2019. In 2020, they joined Keck Medicine of USC as a Deep Learning Researcher at the Neuroimaging with Deep Learning Lab (NIDLL). In this role, they used brain MRI data to create 3D parcellation mappings and utilized deep graph convolutional neural networks for predicting a patient's brain age. Cameron also conducted extensive analysis and published results on various genetic factors. Later in 2020, Cameron worked at RideStream as a Software and Machine Learning Engineer. Cameron then moved on to Syntiant Corp., where they served as a Machine Learning Engineer from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Cameron is a Machine Learning Engineer at Spot AI, starting in 2023.
