About The Role:

The A/R Clerk at Spot plays an important role in ensuring timely billing and collection of our customer invoices. This process is integral to our success as the accounts receivable team is responsible for the day-to-day management of one of our biggest assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and submit invoices on various Transportation Management Systems.
  • Review and send invoices to customers, not on Transportation Management Systems.
  • Collect customer invoices on assigned accounts.
  • Assist with distribution of customer statements.
  • Set up and maintain customer billing profiles.
  • Monitor a billing email address and respond to customer inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Associates degree in Business or Accounting/Finance is preferred.
  • 2+ years of A/R or billing experience; experience in a logistics or third-party organization is a bonus.

Skills:

  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service and assist with A/R inquiries via phone conversation.
