Darren Hays II

Darren Hays II currently serves as the Director of the Virginia Soil & Water Conservation District at the Lake Country Soil and Water Conservation District and works as a Government Relations Specialist at Spotts Fain PC. In addition, Darren is an Associate Board Member for the James Solomon Russell - St Pauls College Museum & Archives and is involved in government affairs with Capitol Square Strategies. Past experiences include serving as Chief of Staff for the Virginia House of Delegates, a Field Organizer for the Virginia Turnout Project, and holding various roles, including Officer of Elections during the 2021 Virginia Statewide Primary. Educational credentials include participation in the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and completion of the Virginia Rural Leadership Institute through The Virginia Rural Center.
