Kathleen Alforque

Kathleen Alforque, CPA, CIA, CISA has over 20 years of work experience in the field of audit and internal control. Kathleen started their career at Ernst & Young LLP as an Assurance Senior Auditor in 2001 and worked there until 2007. Following that, they joined Tribune Company as a Senior Internal Auditor from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, they joined SP+ (SP Plus) as a Manager of Financial Audit (Internal Audit) and held this position until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Director of Internal Audit at SP+ before being promoted to Vice President of Internal Audit in 2022, a position they currently hold. Throughout their career, Kathleen Alforque has demonstrated their expertise in financial audit, internal control, and risk management.

Kathleen Alforque, CPA, CIA, CISA holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Economics from UCLA. Kathleen has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2011, the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2015, and the AuditBoard Level I Certification from AuditBoard in 2019. Kathleen is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
