Maria Young

Maria Young is a Non-Lawyer Associate at Spratt Endicott and specialises in a number of property transactions. Maria’s expertise includes Freehold Sales and Purchases, Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Shared Ownership, Probate Sale, Title Split, Help to Buy, Remortgages, Self Build, Auctions, Lease Extensions, Registering Easements and Equity release.

Maria has over 20 years experience, starting her conveyancing career at a firm in Woking, Surrey and had the good fortune to gain experience in a number of different departments i.e. wills, probate, matrimonial and property law. This gave her a good grounding for her to decide which area she preferred.

Maria left law for three years whilst she worked for the Royal Yachting Association organising events, attending shows and yacht races. Her duties included attending meetings which decided on yacht racing rules. Her background was invaluable in this position. This was also when Maria found she enjoyed marketing and for the RYA selling sponsorship for yacht races!

She has been with Spratt Endicott since 2002 and has worked on thousands of conveyancing cases that vary in complexity and approaches each case with professionalism and efficiency.
