Senior Project Engineer at Spray Equipment & Service Center

Daniel Cook has over 30 years of work experience in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Daniel began their career in 1990 as a Technical Leader at GenCorp Automotive. In 1994, they became an Area Manager at Cambridge Industries, formerly GenCorp Automotive, where they were responsible for the finishing operations for a Tier-1 automotive supplier of reinforced plastic exterior body components. Daniel supervised 4 Team Leaders and 100+ employees associated with the production and maintenance functions for the pretreatment, paint, finesse and packaging operations of automotive body panels to multiple major automotive assembly plants. Daniel was also a Project Manager for several projects related to the improvement of water quality for pretreatment, paint application automation and reduction of environmental concerns related to finishing processes. In 1997, they became an Operations Manager at Noble Industries, where they supervised the construction, and then managed the day-to-day operations, of a state-of-the-art powder coat finishing line for a custom fabricator / job shop. In 2000, they became a Production Engineer at Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, where they were responsible for manufacturing engineering responsibilities for all paint finishing process areas. Daniel was a key role player in tactical planning for improvement of existing equipment and processes, new equipment design and integration, and reduction of environmental concerns associated with finishing processes. In 2011, they became a Process Engineering Manager at FinishLine Technologies, Inc., where they were responsible for the development and implementation of new advances in finishing technologies for an array of world-class end users for both automotive and industrial business segments. The company was acquired by Spray Equipment & Service Center, Inc. in April 2016, and they became a Senior Project Engineer, where they lead capital improvement projects for multiple customer bases, with projects ranging from 40K - 8M, and designed and conducted process specific training for multiple customer sites.

Daniel Cook received a Bachelor's degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General from Indiana University-Purdue University at Columbus between 2005 and 2009. Daniel also obtained a Certificate in Small Business Administration/Management from Indiana University\u2013Purdue University Indianapolis between 1996 and 1997.
