Rachel Lawrence

Rachel Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in senior positions. Rachel started their career as a Merchant Support Specialist at Payroc in 2010, eventually becoming the Director of Merchant Support. In 2012, Rachel joined IBM as a WebSphere Software Sales Brand Specialist. Rachel then returned to Payroc as a Technology Project Manager and later as a Business Development Manager/Technology Integration Specialist.

Rachel joined Handshake (acquired by Shopify) in 2016, where they served as a Senior Solutions Consultant in both Professional Services and B2B segments. In this role, they led customer implementations, defined product roadmaps, and monetized custom development. Rachel also built a segmentation framework and executed the migration of B2B Handshake merchants to Shopify Plus.

Rachel's most recent role was with Shopify as a Senior Program Manager. Here, they worked closely with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, and resources. Rachel also created infrastructure to improve collaboration and provide a comprehensive view of current initiatives.

Rachel's current role is with Spreedly as a Senior Implementation Consultant, which began in 2023.

Rachel Lawrence attended The University of Georgia from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.
