Ibtisam Omer-Hunter

Ibtisam (Ibby) Omer-Hunter has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ibtisam (Ibby) started their career in 2005 as a Direct Support Professional at Heritage Christian Services, where they provided assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Ibtisam (Ibby) worked there until 2011.

In 2010, Ibtisam joined DePaul and held multiple roles including Recreational Coordinator, Medication Coordinator, and Memory Care Coordinator. Ibtisam (Ibby) managed recreational activities, assisted with medication administration, and oversaw the operations of the Memory Care Unit.

From 2014 to 2015, Ibtisam worked as a Reminiscence Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living, where they led and managed the Reminiscence neighborhood and provided support to residents and their families.

In 2015, they joined WakeMed as a Patient Financial Services employee, where they administered account transactions and ensured excellent customer service.

In 2017, Ibtisam became the Director of Marketing & Admissions at Universal Healthcare of Fuquay-Varina, promoting the facility's offerings, conducting tours, and tracking pre-admission referrals.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Admissions Coordinator at Structure House, where they interacted with prospects and their families to promote weight loss programs and facilitated the admission process.

In 2020, Ibtisam joined MetLife as a Claims Case Manager, responsible for gathering information from Long-term Disability claimants and communicating with various stakeholders to make claim decisions.

Currently, since September 2022, Ibtisam is serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Spring Arbor Senior Living.

Throughout their career, Ibtisam has showcased their strong communication and organizational skills, as well as their ability to manage teams and provide excellent customer service.

Ibtisam (Ibby) Omer-Hunter earned an Associates Degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Monroe Community College from 2004 to 2006. Ibtisam (Ibby) then pursued their Bachelor of Health Sciences in Public Health Education and Promotion from SUNY Brockport from 2007 to 2009.
