Marinus Damm

Marinus Damm has a diverse range of experience in the technology industry. Marinus began their career in 2005 at Jive Software, where they managed dev, qa, and internal production systems. Following this, they worked at Cedexis as a Special Ops team member, where they were responsible for cloud server specification, system-wide monitoring strategy, network issue resolution, and technical mentoring. At Portland General Electric, Marinus held multiple roles including UNIX Admin/Tech Team Lead, where they standardized a mixed UNIX environment and automated processes using various scripting languages, and Smart Grid sysop - NetworkDataOperations, where they upgraded and stabilized an application handling remotely-read electric meters. Marinus then joined LegitScript.com as a DevOps Lead, optimizing infrastructure and coordinating a small team. Marinus later worked at Cloudability and Apptio, both of which were involved in cloud-based services. At Cloudability, they served as a Senior Operations Engineer, collaborating with multiple engineering teams to adapt a monolithic application into a distributed system. At Apptio, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on tool development and providing centralized services for logging, metrics collection, and alerting. Marinus also has experience at Stateless and Bright.md, where they worked on DevOps and infrastructure projects. Marinus'smost recent role is at Spring Health as a DevOps Engineer.

Marinus Damm earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Robotic Heuristics from the University of Washington. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at the University of Washington School of Law from 2001 to 2004.
