Brandon White

Brandon White is the current head of product at Spring Discovery. Prior to that, they were a senior product manager at Freenome from August 2016 to March 2019. At Freenome, they were employee #3 and contributed to the company's exponential growth in R&D, valuation, and hiring. Brandon also led the founding R&D team that built machine learning algorithms to broadly model the immune system for various clinical applications such as early cancer detection and immunotherapy response. Their work resulted in one of the first machine learning powered, blood-based early cancer detection tests to undergo clinical trials and funding of over $1 billion.

Before Freenome, Brandon White was a senior machine learning engineer at Uber from September 2014 to August 2016. At Uber, they contributed to the initial foundation of Uber's machine learning platform which improved transportation globally by powering all the key machine learning algorithms at Uber.

Brandon White has also been an investor at various companies and a professional video gamer at World of Warcraft from January 2011 to May 2013.

They work with Christian Elabd - Head, Discovery, Tim Sullivan - Chief Business Officer, and Rachel Jacobson - Lead Scientist. Brandon White reports to Ben Kamens, Founder & CEO.
