Josephine Amos (she/her)

Josephine joined Springboard Collaborative in September 2023 as a software engineer with 2 years of experience working in e-commerce and over 5 years working in startup environments. Prior to tech, she worked in education as an English teacher in Madrid, hospitality at a resort in Guam, community organizing with various non-profits in NYC with a focus on poverty and reproductive rights in the Philippines, and office management in various industries in NYC. She was drawn to coding by her sense of curiosity and creativity and is now excited to put her skills towards helping children improve their literacy. Her favorite book growing up was Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! by Dr. Seuss. She's from and is now based in San Diego, CA, where she spends her free time being active outdoors or swimming in the ocean.
