Steve Winter

Steve Winter has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing and communications. Steve is currently employed at Springer Healthcare as the Scientific Services Director in inScience Communications since April 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Scientific Team Leader in the same company from January 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Springer Healthcare, Steve worked at AstraZeneca as a Publications Leader for Respiratory from October 2015 to December 2019. Steve also held the position of Publications Manager at Roche Diagnostics International Ltd from October 2014 to September 2015. Previous to that, they worked at Novartis as a Senior Medical Communications Leader from March 2013 to September 2014. Steve's earlier experience includes serving as the Scientific Services Director in inScience Communications at Springer Healthcare Ltd from February 2006 to February 2013. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Medical Writer/Consultant at SA Winter Medical Writing from 1998 to 2006.

Steve Winter obtained their BPharm in Pharmacy from King's College London from 1986 to 1989. Steve then pursued a PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Bath from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, they hold certifications as an Alumni Volunteer from King's College London Alumni and as a Certified Medical Publication Professional from the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals, obtained in December 2016.
