Els Rens-van der Zijde

Els Rens-van der Zijde has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Els currently works as the Head of Reporting and Data Management at Springer Nature since March 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Publishing Operations Officer at Springer starting in July 2008. Els also worked at Springer in various roles from 1990 to 2008, including Sales Operations Manager, Sales Project Support Manager, and Sales Support Manager. Before joining Springer, they worked as a Sales Coordinator at Kluwer Academic Publishers from February 1987 to 1990.

Els Rens-van der Zijde completed their education at various institutions. From 1974 to 1980, they attended Rijksscholengemeenschap Bergen op Zoom. Subsequently, they enrolled at Schoevers College, where they studied from 1980 to 1982. During that time, they also attended HBO from 1981 to 1982, specializing in European Secretary Academy. However, no specific degree was obtained at any of these institutions.
