Editor In Chief For In Vitro Models at Springer Nature

Ketul Popat's work experience begins in 2003 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Boston University. In 2005, they become an Associate Specialist at UCSF. From December 2007 to June 2013, Ketul Popat serves as an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University. Ketul then becomes an Associate Professor at the university from July 2013 to June 2020. In July 2018, they take on the role of Associate Department Head of Undergraduate Studies in Mechanical Engineering. In July 2019, they become the Director of Undergraduate Programs in Biomedical Engineering, and from July 2020, they serve as a Professor at Colorado State University. Additionally, starting in May 2021, they are appointed as the Editor In Chief for In vitro models at Springer Nature Group.

Ketul Popat pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, which they completed between 1994 and 1998. Ketul then went on to earn a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2000 to 2003.
