M.D. Rakibul Islam

Md Rakibul Islam is an accomplished transportation engineer with extensive experience in research, teaching, and consultancy. At the University of Central Florida, as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2020 to December 2023, Md Rakibul Islam contributed to multiple FHWA-FDOT-funded projects, focusing on traffic safety, mobility assessment, and technology implementation studies. Prior to this, Md Rakibul Islam served as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, overseeing numerous courses and thesis groups. Additionally, Md Rakibul Islam held key roles in national projects as a Lead Transportation Consultant at O.CREEDS LTD. and development design management, enhancing urban transportation systems. With a robust educational background, including a PhD in Transportation Engineering, multiple master's degrees, and certifications in data mining, Md Rakibul Islam combines academic expertise with practical applications in improving transportation infrastructure and service quality.
