Oded Galor

Oded Galor has worked as a Professor at Brown University since 1990. In 2010, they became the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Economic Growth at Springer Nature Group. In 2020, they took on the roles of Editor at the Journal of Population Economics at Springer Publishing and Co-Editor of Macroeconomic Dynamics at Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

Oded Galor began their education in economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from 1975 to 1978. Oded then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in economics at the same institution from 1978 to 1980. Following this, Galor furthered their studies at Columbia University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in economics.
