Shari Wiseman

Shari Wiseman has extensive work experience in the scientific editorial field. Shari currently holds the position of Chief Editor at Springer Nature Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked in various editorial positions at Springer Nature Group, including Senior Editor from September 2019 to July 2021, Associate Editor from July 2017 to September 2019, and Assistant Editor from January 2017 to June 2017.

Before joining Springer Nature Group, Shari worked as a Scientific Editor on a freelance basis from November 2015 to January 2017. Shari also served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Tufts University School of Medicine from January 2015 to December 2016 and as a Postdoctoral Associate at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from September 2013 to December 2014.

Shari's academic background includes being a Graduate Student at Yale University from September 2006 to September 2012, where they pursued their studies. Shari also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Yale University from 2003 to 2006.

Shari Wiseman obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Intensive) from Yale University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Shari further pursued their education at Yale University and successfully completed their Ph.D. in Neuroscience between 2006 and 2012.
