Vishnu Chaturvedi

Vishnu Chaturvedi currently serves as Chief of Microbiology, Virology, and Molecular Biology at Westchester Medical Center and as a Professor of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at New York Medical College. In addition, Vishnu holds the position of Editor In Chief for Mycopathologia at Springer Nature Technology and Publishing Solutions, a role maintained since 2004. Previously, Vishnu directed the Mycology Lab and Special Services at the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, and served as Chief of the Microbial Diseases Laboratory Branch at the California Department of Public Health. Early career experience includes a role as Associate Research Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine. Vishnu Chaturvedi earned a PhD in Medical Microbiology from New York Medical College and completed post-doctoral fellowships in Infectious Diseases at both the University of Cincinnati and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
