Cate Huggins

Cate Huggins has held a variety of roles in the field of behavior analysis since 2010. Cate began as a Research Student at Lincoln Charter School in 2010, followed by Research Student at Masonic Homes Child-care Center in 2012. In 2013, they were a Research Student at A Child's Place Montessori School and a Behavior Support Staff at New Story Schools. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Registered Behavior Technician and Supervisee at Verbal Beginnings, LLC, and as a Community Living Support (CLS) at Purchase Area Development District. In 2017, they were a Behavior Supports Supervisor (BSS) at the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, Registered Behavior Technician, and Supervisee at Bloom Behavior Therapy, LLC. Finally, since 2019 they have been an ABA Fieldwork Advisor, Clinical Trainer, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Hopebridge, and since 2021 they have been a Senior Director of Clinical Standards and Strategic Operations Manager at Springtide Child Development.

Cate Huggins has a comprehensive educational history. Cate obtained their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University in 2013. Cate then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Psychology from Penn State University in 2014 and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2017. Cate is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at Capella University, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Licensed Behavior Analyst from the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners in 2021, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in 2017, a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) from the Department of Education, Commonwealth of Kentucky in 2016, and a Human Research certification from the CITI Program in 2022.
