Einar Botten

Einar Botten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Einar started their career in 1986 as a Team Manager and Software Developer at Landbruksdata. From 1988 to 1992, they worked at Gjensidige, where they held positions as a Controller/Analyst and later as the Head of Controlling for the Greater Oslo region. During their tenure at Gjensidige, they played a key role in a successful turnaround, establishing a department for financial control and facility management.

In 1994, Einar joined Fuels-at-Sea, Inc (USA) as an Operations Officer before moving on to Svenska Statoil AB in 1996 as a Controller, responsible for business controlling within a business unit. Einar actively participated in the due diligence process during this time.

Einar's career at Svenska Statoil AB continued to progress as they took on various roles. From 1998 to 2001, they served as a Key Account Manager and later as a Sales Manager B2B, where they were responsible for the B2B sales department and successfully defended their market-leading position on corporate gasoline cards. In 2001, they joined the marketing department as the Acting Marketing Director, leading an organization of about 50 employees. Einar later transitioned to the role of Category Manager Fuel, where they managed daily pricing and margin, product development, and media contacts.

In 2005, Einar became the HR Director at Svenska Statoil AB, serving in that role until September 2011. Einar was part of the top management team, reporting directly to the CEO. Einar'sresponsibilities included recruitment, training, people and organizational development, compensation and benefits, as well as general HR, personnel administration, and payroll. During this time, they were also appointed as the Head of Transport Fuel, where they were responsible for the entire fuel value chain, including sourcing and supply, oil depots and terminals, distribution, and category management.

Einar's most recent work experience was as the HR Director at Spendrups Bryggeri AB, a position they have held since 2011.

Einar Botten's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Agricultural Economics, which they obtained from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) between 1980 and 1985. Later, between 1992 and 1994, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.
