Shreyas Satish

Shreyas Satish is a Founding Full Stack Engineer at Sprinto HQ since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer III, Software Engineer II, Software Engineer I, and Software Intern at Cerner Corporation from 2018 onwards. As a Software Engineer II, they reduced maintenance cost by 50% by developing a Java ETL MapReduce pipeline (Apache Crunch) to scan through HBase tables and clean up data older than 2 years and perform Sharding (Apache Solr). Shreyas also optimized a Java ETL pipeline to consume 85% lesser GB days by restructuring the processing algorithm and saved 2 hours on a weekly basis for the team by developing a bot using python selenium to automate Weekly Operational Review. As a Software Engineer I, they developed a CCL script to print Readmission related data for physicians to handle a physical copy of the patient worklist. Shreyas also worked on shell scripts to copy big data from HDFS (On Prem cluster) to S3 (AWS cluster) and a Java ETL pipeline to correct the calculation of concordance statistics (Area Under the Curve) for analyzing the correctness of Readmission Risk Prediction model.

Shreyas Satish has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer and Communication Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a 12th Karnataka State Board in Science (PCMB) from Vidyodaya Pre University College from 2012 to 2014. Shreyas also obtained a Std X ICSE from Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi from 2000 to 2012.
