Managing Director at Sprocket Websites

Kate Gingold has been working in the professional world since 1988 when they began as a News Reporter at The Saline Reporter. In 1996, they and their husband Don Gingold founded Gnu Ventures Company, a media production company for book writing, book publishing and voice-over work. Since 2006, Kate has been an Author and Speaker, publishing several books for children and adults about Illinois history, and speaking to school and community groups about Illinois history and the writing process. In 2010, they joined the Sprocket Websites team as Managing Director, focusing on social media and content marketing for website clients, writing blog posts on digital marketing every other week and publishing The Sprocket Report. In 2015, they began volunteering on the Publicity Committee of Summer Place Theatre, writing content for the website, maintaining Summer Place's community on Facebook, writing and distributing news releases for local media and community calendars, and collecting analytics for improving Summer Place Theatre's online marketing.

Kate Gingold has attended three educational institutions: Knox College, North Park University, and College of DuPage. At Knox College, they studied Creative Writing/Fine Arts-Painting. At North Park University, they studied Creative Writing and Painting. At College of DuPage, they studied Illustration and Screenwriting.
