Okundu Omeni

Okundu Omeni has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they are the Head of Software at SPT Labtech, a position they have held since January 2021. Before this, from September 2016 to January 2021, they worked as a Systems Director at Sensium Healthcare.

Prior to that, Okundu was with Toumaz MicroSystems Ltd., where they held multiple roles. From September 2010 to January 2021, they served as the Head of Digital & Embedded Systems, leading a team responsible for the design and implementation of low power wireless protocol SoCs, including both the digital and embedded software. Okundu also worked as a Principal Design Engineer from July 2007 to September 2010 at the same company.

Furthermore, Okundu's early career included roles in computer support and network support at Citibank from 1997 to 1999.

Okundu Omeni obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, where they studied from 1990 to 1997. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education by enrolling at Imperial College London. From 1999 to 2004, they pursued a PhD in EE Engineering from Imperial College London and successfully completed the program.
