Elena Gianni

Elena Gianni is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Design Director and founding member at SPUN, where efforts focus on modernizing the global permit and visa creation process. In parallel, Elena heads the design studio at Leaf, a tech company providing performance marketing services for eCommerce businesses. Elena's extensive experience includes roles such as Head of Design and Executive Officer at Cookpad, as well as Design Director at The New York Times, where notable contributions included leading the redesign of the home screen across platforms. Additional experiences include consulting for the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and serving as Visiting Faculty. Elena holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and has pursued courses in machine learning, storytelling, and creativity.
