Katie Donohoe has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Most recently, they worked as a Content Editor - Voices at spunout from June 2021. Prior to that, from November 2017 to June 2021, they served as the Head of New Media Production at GCN (Gay Community News). Before entering the media industry, Katie gained experience in the technology sector as an Enterprise Product Specialist at Dell from February 2015 to January 2016, and as an Inside Sales Account Manager (UK Region) from June 2014 to January 2015. Katie also had a significant role as a Lab Assistant at National College of Ireland from September 2012 to January 2014, and as a Webmaster for ncisu.ie at NCISU from July 2012 to May 2014. Additionally, they held various leadership positions, including President at NCI LGBT from September 2010 to May 2014, Vice-President & Video Editor at NCI tv from September 2011 to April 2013, and Public Relations Officer at NCI Students' Union from July 2012 to July 2013. Throughout their career, Katie demonstrated strong skills in content editing, new media production, product specialization, sales, web development, and leadership.

Katie Donohoe's education history begins with their attendance at Colaiste Ide CFE from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a FETAC Level 5 BBSXX in Business, Marketing, and Human Resources. Following this, they enrolled at the National College of Ireland from 2010 to 2013 and completed a BA (Ord) in Management of Technology in Business, focusing on Information Technology and Business.

In 2013, Katie Donohoe continued their education at the National College of Ireland and achieved a BA (Hons) in Technology Management, specializing in Information Technology, which was completed in 2014. During the same year, they obtained a certification as a VMware Sales Professional (VSP) from VMware.

Lastly, Katie Donohoe pursued their MSc in Multimedia with a focus on Interactive Digital Media at Dublin City University from 2016 to 2017.
