Richard Grenville has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Richard is currently working as a Principal Engineer at SPX FLOW, Inc. Prior to this, they served as a Director of Mixing Technology at Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, Ltd. and as a Principal Consultant at DuPont.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University and the University of Delaware, where they taught courses on mixing and served as an industrial advisor for design and research projects.

Richard also gained valuable experience as a Process Engineer at BHR Group, a Project Engineer at Unilever Research, and an Applications Engineer at Chemineer Ltd.

Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of engineering, including mixing technology, design and operation of stirred tanks, and agitator and mixer design.

Richard Grenville obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Richard later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the Mixing of non-Newtonian Fluids, at Cranfield University from 1988 to 1992. Richard also achieved various certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Fellow of AIChE in 2020, Fellow of the IChemE in 1999, Chartered Engineer in 1989, and a Member of the IChemE in May 1989.
