Vernon Kistasamy

Vernon Kistasamy has a strong background in finance and management. Vernon started their career as the Head of Finance at SPX FLOW, Inc., where they were responsible for driving financial and compliance strategies for the Sub-Saharan subsidiary and focusing on growth initiatives in Africa. Prior to that, they worked at United Technologies as the Country Finance Manager, overseeing all financial and reporting activities for the local entity. Vernon also held the role of Regional Finance Manager UKISA, where they were responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance for entities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Before this, they served as the Finance Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa at United Technologies, handling various finance functions such as cash management, treasury controls, balance sheet reconciliations, and payroll-related functions. Additionally, they held the position of Head of Finance Africa at Schneider Electric, where they managed financial activities in the sub-region, including financial and management reporting, financial planning, tax accounting and compliance, cash management, and audit. Overall, Vernon Kistasamy has a wealth of experience in finance and has worked for reputable companies in various leadership roles.

Vernon Kistasamy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, attending from 1995 to 2000. Vernon further pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Management College of Southern Africa, completing their studies from 2013 to 2017.
