Peter Youell

Peter Youell is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading technology strategies and engineering teams across multiple organizations. Currently serving as CTO and Co-founder of Detected since September 2020, Peter has been instrumental in developing the Copilot platform for the Know Your Business (KYB) space, catering to global financial institutions. Additionally, Peter holds the position of Group CTO at SQLI since November 2022. Previously, Peter was Global EVP Technology at Astound Commerce, where responsibilities included managing global technology strategy and R&D, and participating in C-suite interactions and acquisition strategies. Other significant roles include Principal Solutions Architect at Oracle and Head of Engineering at Tryzens, demonstrating a consistent track record in technology leadership, project management, and digital transformation throughout a career spanning over two decades. Peter holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
