Abdel Rahman Farah

Abdel Rahman Farah has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Abdel Rahman started their career as a Marketing Manager at Airbus Group, where they developed business through sales and marketing of various high-tech products. Abdel Rahman then joined Etihad Airways Engineering as a Regional Manager, where they explored and sourced new business opportunities. After that, they worked at John Holland as a Commercial Sales Manager and Customer Relationship Manager, where they focused on developing the business and expanding sales pipelines. Farah then joined SR Technics Group as a Customer Program Manager, responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of integrated component services to regional customers. Abdel Rahman later became the Business Development Director for Australasia and Indonesia at SR Technics Group, leading the local business activities and successfully executing targeted strategies. Currently, they serve as the General Manager and Business Development Director at SR Technics Australia Pty Ltd.

Abdel Rahman Farah has a diverse education history. Abdel Rahman obtained their Bsc in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 1994. Additionally, they completed a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Leeds College of Technology in 1990. Abdel Rahman Farah also pursued an Msc in Aviation Management from Griffith University, Brisbane, between 2003 and 2006. Furthermore, they received training and completed courses in various areas such as Experimental Mechanics of Flights from Cranfield University, 5S Management & Implementation from ADAT, Products Training and Marketing courses from EADS Germany and France, Technical Training Course in Airbus A340 familiarisation from GAMCO, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) familiarization course from Gamco, and Leadership skills course from the Institute for International Research. Abdel Rahman also completed courses in Neurosport Leadership and Management from JHAS and Service Quality Excellence from Marcus Evans.
