Alan Braun

Alan Braun has a diverse work experience in the fields of quantum sensing, photonics, and hardware security. alan started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ecole Polytechnique in 1997. In 1998, they joined Sarnoff Corporation as a Technical Manager, where they worked on developing custom performance optoelectronic components for various applications. In 2016, Alan joined SRI International as the Associate Director of Applied Sciences, focusing on developing programs in the fields of quantum sensing, photonics, and hardware security.

Alan Braun received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1990. alan then went on to earn their PhD in Ultrafast Optics from the University of Michigan in 1997.
