Nicole Dilello Heidel

Nicole DiLello Heidel is a seasoned research engineer with extensive experience in the fields of silicon photonics, RF photonics, heterogeneous integration, CMOS processes and devices, thermal management, and neural interfaces. Currently employed at SRI International since December 2016, prior roles include Lead Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where technical support was provided for DARPA's Microsystems Technology Office and Biological Technology Office, and Senior Consultant offering similar expertise. Earlier experience includes a research assistantship at MIT, focusing on germanium-on-silicon photodiodes, and instructional roles aimed at encouraging high school girls to pursue engineering. Nicole holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, along with a master's degree from MIT and a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
