Shoko Jin is a highly experienced astrophysicist with a robust academic and research background. Currently a Staff Scientist at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research since March 2020, Shoko has also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford since September 2018. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at RAL Space (UKRI), Kapteyn Astronomical Institute/Leiden Observatory, and Kapteyn Astronomical Institute at the University of Groningen, among others, showcasing significant expertise in astrophysical research. Shoko Jin obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Natural Sciences, all from the University of Cambridge.
