Michele Hammann, CPA, CVA has a strong background in audit and financial reporting. Michele began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate, where they performed financial audits and implemented the Sarbanes Oxley Act for various clients. Their responsibilities included reviewing key business processes, executing control based and substantive test work, and preparing financial statements and audit reports.
In 2005, Michele joined SSC CPAs, PA as Vice President, where they focused on bringing value through meaningful reporting and thorough explanation in audits. Michele emphasized a management-oriented approach to auditing, recognizing its importance as a tool for running organizations.
Currently, Michele serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at SSC CPAs + Advisors, where they provide timely and meaningful financial information to help steer businesses. Their role involves partnering with clients to ensure they have the necessary insights to make informed decisions and drive their organizations forward.
Michele Hammann, CPA, CVA, has a strong educational background in accounting and business. Michele received their Bachelor's degree in Business from The University of Kansas in 2000, and then went on to pursue a Masters in Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Kansas Graduate School of Business from 2000 to 2001.
In addition to their academic achievements, Michele has obtained two certifications. Michele became a Certified Public Accountant in April 2002 through the Kansas Board of Accountancy. Later, in March 2004, they earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
