Brandon Haley, CGM has a diverse work experience in various roles related to grounds and landscape management. Brandon started their career at Jefferson County Community College as an Adjunct Instructor, where they taught courses in the Landscape Technology Department. During this time, they were responsible for planning and instructing classes on various topics including turfgrass, sports field management, agribusiness, Spanish for agriculture, and equipment maintenance.
After their time at the college, Haley joined Red Diamond, Inc as the Director of Landscape Operations. In this role, they oversaw all landscape operations and was responsible for managing a team and ensuring the efficient execution of landscaping projects. Brandon held this position for 8 years before moving on to their next role.
Following their tenure at Red Diamond, Haley joined Greystone Golf & Country Club as the Landscape and Residential Lawn Services Operations Manager. Here, they managed the landscape and lawn services operations, overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the club's grounds and residential areas.
Currently, Haley is working at SSC Services For Education. Brandon initially joined as the Grounds Project Manager and later transitioned into the role of Senior Project Manager - Grounds and Sustainability. In their current position, they are responsible for managing and overseeing large-scale grounds and sustainability projects.
Brandon Haley, CGM has a Bachelor's Degree in Turfgrass Management from Clemson University, obtained from 2000 to 2004. Brandon also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham - Collat School of Business, completed from 2010 to 2011. In addition, they hold a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Science and Policy from the Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs, earned between 2017 and 2019.
Brandon has also obtained several certifications. Brandon is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) from the Irrigation Association, achieved in March 2023. Brandon holds the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification from the National Recreation and Park Association, acquired in January 2020. Brandon completed the Turfgrass Management Program offered by the Green Industry Web Portal in December 2015. Brandon earned the Urban Forestry Level 2 certification from the Green Industry Web Portal - Urban Forestry Certification Program in March 2014. Lastly, Brandon is a Certified Grounds Manager certified by the Professional Grounds Management Society, obtained in March 2013.
