George Bernardon

George is a passionate mentor and advocate for all things green and growing, and is a 35-year industry veteran. He has an associate’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Maryland, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds numerous certifications and accreditations, and is the senior sports turf consultant for the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA). When he’s not working, George loves nothing better than spending time with his wife and grandchildren, and spoiling all of them as much as possible.
