Mark Billsborough

Mark Billsborough has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Mark currently holds the position of Head of Investment Appraisal at SSE Energy Solutions since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Renewable Sales and Trading at SSE Renewables from September 2019 to May 2021. Before that, they served as the Head of Trading & Renewables at Co-op Energy from November 2015 to September 2019. Mark also has a strong background in finance and investments, having worked at EON Climate & Renewables in various roles such as Senior Investment Manager and Investment & Risk Manager, focusing on onshore wind generation projects and M&A activity. Mark started their career as a Senior Risk Analyst at EON UK Energy Trading.

Mark Billsborough attended Bangor Grammar School from an unknown start year until an unknown end year. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Aberystwyth University in 1992 and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics & Biochemistry.
