Ronan O'Sullivan

Ronan O'Sullivan currently serves as the Business Development Manager at SSE Thermal, focusing on developing new business opportunities in Ireland related to Hydrogen, CCUS, Storage, and Electrofuels. Previously, at SSE plc, Ronan held roles as a Maintenance Asset Integrity Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring the safety and efficiency of generating plant infrastructure. Ronan's experience also includes serving as an O&M Manager at Clearpower, overseeing installations such as the UK's first Biomass thermal oil CCHP plant. Early career roles included positions in operation and maintenance of biomass power plants, production and maintenance technician roles, and a four-year mechanical apprenticeship at the Pfizer Loughbeg API site. Ronan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Open University and is an alumnus of Munster Technological University.
