Leah Lockhart

Human Resources Director at City of South San Francisco

Leah Lockhart has held various roles in their work experience. Leah started their career as an Administrative Assistant at the Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA of San Francisco from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, they worked as an Organization Development Consultant at the County of San Mateo Human Services Agency until 2004. From 2002 to 2003, they also interned and worked in program development at the UCSF Center for Gender Equity. Leah then transitioned to the City of Redwood City, where they served as a Human Resources Manager from 2004 to 2018. Currently, Leah is the Human Resources Director at the City of South San Francisco, a position they have held since 2018.

Leah Lockhart holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, which they obtained from Alliant International University-San Francisco Bay between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Organizational Psychology at the same institution from 2000 to 2002. Before their graduate studies, Leah earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
